OVERVIEW:

Ivory Tree Game Lodge is situated within the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, one of the largest volcanic complexes of its kind in the world. The early presence of man can be seen in the numerous Stone and Iron Age sites that are scattered throughout the Park.

This premium Pilanesberg game lodge offers various room options: Executive, Luxury and Standard. The Executive Suite not only boasts a plunge pool on the private patio, but also features a comfortable king-size bed, Nespresso machine and flatscreen television with limited DSTV channels.

Adventure-filled outdoor activities at Ivory Tree Game Lodge include Big 5 Game Drives, Quad Biking, Archery, Airgun, and Drumming.

Each Standard Room is tastefully decorated with African décor and features a relaxing outdoor sitting area, as well as a range of amenities for your comfort and enjoyment. Two adults can be accommodated in either 2 x Single Beds or 1 x King-size Bed configuration with an en-suite bathroom and an adventurous outdoor shower under the African sun.

Each of the 4 x Luxury Suites features a range of amenities for your comfort and enjoyment, as well as a relaxing
outdoor sitting area*, a lounge area with a flat-screen TV (selected DSTV channels), and a fireplace for chilly bushveld evenings. These Suites are all tastefully decorated with African décor and come with a king-size, 4-poster bed and an en-suite bathroom.

Incorporating every conceivable luxury, the Executive Suite features 1 x King-size Bed with luxurious linens and beautiful pops of colour throughout. You are welcome to bask in the glorious African sun on your private patio and relax in the plunge pool for your exclusive use. PILANE VILLA – 1
Please note: Book all 4 rooms in the Pilane Villa for exclusive use.
The Pilane Villa comprises of 4 Standard rooms (max 2 guests per room) close to a central area. When booked exclusively, guests have the use of private recreational areas and a private game drive vehicle.

KOSHER VILLA – 1
The New C5 Villa at Ivory Tree is ready to welcome guests from the 20th of August and offers a Kosher Kitchen, private dining and lounge area with a private pool and a private vehicle with a guide for the duration of your stay.
The Kosher chef and supervisor will serve 3 meals a day. The new kitchen is exclusively for Kosher use; is segregated for meat and milk and will remain locked when not in use.
The Kosher safari experience is available for groups of 8 – 12 people:

Cost is R3999 per person sharing per night which includes:

• Accommodation, kosher meals and dusk and dawn game drives
• Private Kosher Chef
• Kosher Supervisor

*single rooms carry a 50% surcharge on the sharing rate.
Children:
Children between the ages of 6 and 12 are permitted on safari at the sole discretion of the manager or guide.
Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on game drives.
Baby-sitting facilities available at R225 per hour (maximum 2 children) (CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE)
Sole use vehicle is available to facilitate families at an additional cost of R4 500 per vehicle per game drive

Standard Rooms: Maximum 2 adults
Luxury Suites: Maximum of 2 adults and 1 child under the age of 12. Children sharing with adults in Luxury suites will be charged 50% of the standard room sharing rate.
Family Suite: Maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12.
Executive Suite: Maximum 2 adults

BIG 5 GAME DRIVES
Get the real feel for the African bushveld by going on a morning or evening game drive. Driving in an open safari vehicle, along with a qualified guide – experience the Big 5 territory of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve.
Please Note: No children under the age of 6 allowed on game drives

ARCHERY
Mix a little bit of adventure with history with an ancient bushveld tradition; archery – with a modern influence of course. You will receive a short safety briefing, and your guide shares a tale about the San hunters before you grab this opportunity to learn the technique of a challenging art form.

AIR GUN SHOOTING
Enjoy action satisfaction with this adventure-filled activity. Take aim and practice your pellet gun aiming skills with a fixed target! You will receive a safety briefing and demonstration from an experienced guide to ensure you a thrilling experience in the safest possible way.

QUAD BIKING
Ride your way into some adrenalin-pumping obstacles on our exciting quad trail! Our excellent operational brief from our guides ensures that you need no previous experience quadding. Your one-hour adventure will see you through the bushveld, including a trip into the local community where you will meet its residents, and be guided through the lodge’s involvement in community projects.

INTERACTIVE DRUMMING
Get into the vibe of your Ivory Tree experience and get involved in some interactive drumming. Drumming has always been an important facet in African culture as a form of expression and communication. A minimum of five and a maximum of 120 guests can be accommodated in this interactive drum circle. All ages welcome!
