This resort is on a prime Grand Bay property, perched on a peninsula with two beaches, each offering a different view. Woven into the legacy of the resort is a little piece of Mauritius’ rich cultural history, blending old and new in innovative, creative ways: A new and unique safari-inspired kids club offers youngsters aged 3 – 11 years a world of fun and entertainment. Kids can broaden their horizons with activities in a generous playground and in a tented village. The old lighthouse now serves as a venue for the Teens Club and the spa has been built in the branches of an ancient banyan tree.

ACCOMMODATIONS: 

STANDARD ROOMS

The Standard Garden Facing and Standard Sea Facing Rooms are located on all floors and overlook either the inner tropical gardens of the resort, or they face towards the sea – the Standard Garden Facing Rooms offer a shower only.

SUPERIOR ROOMS

The Superior Garden Facing and Superior Sea Facing Rooms are located on all floors and overlook either the inner tropical gardens of the resort, or they face towards the sea.

FAMILY DUPLEXES

These upper-floor duplexes comprise the parents’ sleeping area on the lower level adjacent to the unit’s bathroom, with the children’s sleeping area on the mezzanine level above. The children’s sleeping area overlooks the lower section of the unit; due to the steep staircase leading up to the children’s sleeping area the unit is not recommended for children under five years. Both garden-facing and sea-facing Duplexes are available.

DELUXE ROOM SEA FACING

Located on the ground and first floors in the southern area of the property, these rooms overlook the tropical gardens and palms to the sea beyond. Bathrooms consist of a separate bath and shower. 

TWO-BEDROOM GARDEN FACING APARTMENTS

Apartments consist of two bedrooms and two bathrooms and are located in the gardens of the resort.

Located on the northern tip of the resort complex, these open-plan suites offer sweeping sea views.

LE FRANGIPANIER RESTAURANT

You don’t have to disconnect from the natural beauty around you while you tuck into freshly prepared island cuisine. Taking full advantage of the historical surroundings that define Canonnier Beachcomber, this open-plan, airy restaurant is charmingly set in a garden near the pool. An extra special feature of this restaurant is the live cooking demonstrations where you can watch the skilled chefs prepare your meal. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style.

LE NAVIGATOR RESTAURANT

Intimate romance defines this elegant restaurant with its panoramic views over the island to the north of Mauritius – the ideal spot for a cosy lunch or a romantic dinner. Guests can choose between the a-la-carte menu (at a supplement) or the daily changing set menu (included). Open 6 evenings a week for dinner.

LA SERENATA RESTAURANT

Look forward to a warm, quiet atmosphere tucked away amidst palms and twinkling lights. Specialising in Italian cuisine, this restaurant is open 6 nights a week for dinner. Guests can choose between the a-la-carte menu (at a supplement) or the daily changing set menu (included).
