This full day Big 5 safari experience is an ideal inclusion in your Cape Town holiday itinerary. Enjoy a great diversity of wildlife and natural Karoo beauty with the opportunity to capture stunning wildlife photos and make African memories to last a lifetime.

Full Day Traditional Big 5 Safari Itinerary:
09h00 – Arrival and welcome drinks
09h00 – 10h00 – Buffet Breakfast
10h15 – 2-3hr Game Drive and visit to Eco-Synergy Centre (optional)
12h45 – 13h45 – Buffet Lunch
13h45 – Time at Leisure
16h30 – Depart for Cape Town

Duration of game drives and departure times are approximate and dependent on the interaction of the guests with the ranger and the sighting of animals.

Transport to Aquila:

Day Trips:
Standard transport is R940.00 per adult, kids are half price, return. Pick up times are between 06h00 and 07h00am. Location will be confirmed by a safari consultant.

Overnight Transport:
Overnight transport is R1 440.00/per adult, kids are half price, return. Pick up times are between 09h00 and 10h00am on the day of check-in and will be confirmed via the contact details provided at the time of booking.

Pick up zones include:

Combo Full Day Safari

R3 420 per person (traditional safari + 1 extra outride)
Vehicle Safari – Traditional Game Drive: Combines the 2 to 3 hour morning Big 5 traditional game drive and either a 1.5 hour afternoon horseback or quadbike outride together.

Option 1 – Quadbike Outride: Maximum weight per person: 90Kgs. Min. age is 16 years and older. 250cc horsepower quad bikes. There are a maximum number of 10 people per quad bike experience, and one person per quad bike. The quad bike experience is guided by two qualified rangers. The quad bike experience involves roughing it up with an experienced wildlife guide within the 10,000 hectare conservancy.

Option 2 – Horseback Outride: Maximum weight per person: 95Kgs. Min. age is 16 years and older. The horseback experience is guided by two qualified rangers. Horseback adventures include a slow walk across the plains with possible wildlife sightings and guided information about the Karoo veld and our conservation projects.
