Cape Milner Hotel is situated in the heart of Cape Town in the trendy suburb of Tamboerskloof at the foot of the majestic Table Mountain. There is so much to love about this Hotel and not to mention that there is so much to do and see, just walking distance from the Hotel. Major attractions are a quick 5 to 10 minute drive away.
On the outside, it may look like any ordinary building but as you enter this charming hotel, you feel as if you have been transported back in time to a classy 70s boutique hotel with mirrors all around, blue lights, white leather, and blue suede with a touch of Africa.
We were welcomed by the very friendly Donna, who is one of the Marketing Managers for the Extraordinary Hotel Group. To start our tour, Donna escorted us upstairs to a centrally situated Restaurant, you can’t help but “Ooh and Aah” at the Art deco influences. Inspired by the 1920s Speakeasy Prohibition era with a modern twist, the Restaurant known as the Glass Lounge is absolutely stunning with its glass roof that offers guests an incredible view of Table Mountain during the day and a starry roof at night.
Everything catches your eye, from the glamorous lounge area, sparkling lights and trendy bar area where you can enjoy a range of cocktails, liqueurs, single malts, wine and much more. The Restaurant offers a range of delicious dishes from hot wings, pizzas, gourmet burgers, tender steaks, line fish, chicken curry to Asta La Pasta. Something for everyone.
We were treated to delicious lunch with Donna.
Other Dining Areas:
